Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to purchases and custom order requests made on this website (shedeckwoodworks.com), operated by Shedeck Woodworks of Albany, Oregon ("we", "us"). By placing an order or sending a request you agree to them.

Separate from Etsy

This website is separate from our Etsy shop. Purchases made on Etsy are governed by Etsy's terms and policies, not these. We do not complete Etsy orders or Etsy conversations on this website. If your order or conversation started on Etsy, please continue it in Etsy Messages.

Who can order here

Orders on this website ship within the United States only. For orders outside the United States, please purchase through our Etsy shop.

Products and pricing

Our pieces are handmade from natural wood, so grain, color and markings vary from piece to piece and may differ from photos. Prices are in US dollars. We may correct pricing errors and will refund any order we cannot fulfil at the correct price.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We may close accounts that are misused.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Shipping

Shipping within the US is free by USPS Ground Advantage, or $5 per order for USPS Priority Mail, chosen at checkout. Delivery times are estimates set by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the package to the address you provided, so please check your address carefully.

Custom orders

Custom pieces are covered by our Custom Order Policy, which explains quotes and approval, deposits and balance payments, cancellations, changes, natural wood characteristics, production and shipping times, and damaged or incorrect orders. If anything in these terms conflicts with that policy for a custom order, the Custom Order Policy applies.

Returns, refunds and replacements (ready-made items)

This section applies to ready-made items bought from the shop. Custom pieces follow the Custom Order Policy.

Returns. You may return an item within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by you. Once we receive the returned item, we will refund your payment for the item.

Replacements. If you request a replacement, you must return the item you received once the replacement arrives. We will send the replacement and reimburse your return shipping cost if you provide proof of what you paid.

To start a return or request a replacement, contact us through the contact form. Purchases made on Etsy are subject to Etsy's policies instead.

Care

Wood is a natural material and can change with humidity and heat. Keep pieces away from standing water and extreme temperature changes.

Intellectual property

The photos, logo, designs and text on this website belong to Shedeck Woodworks. Please do not copy or reuse them without permission.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version posted when you order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
